The Radiopharmaceutical Sciences Olympiad (RSO) is an international video competition designed to promote radiopharmaceutical science and technology to the average layperson. This is a unique opportunity for young, university scientists to showcase originality, creativity, and knowledge regarding radiopharmaceutical sciences and applications. By participating in the RSO, young scientists have the opportunity to connect with radiopharmaceutical organizations.
Objectives
The RSO aims to connect with young scientists who are excited about radiopharmaceutical science and technology and give them a voice in an international setting. The competition also serves as a means of raising public awareness on the applications of nuclear science and technology for public health around the world, with the best videos posted on the SRS website after the meeting. The top 3 videos will be showcased during the closing ceremony of iSRS 2022 in Nantes, France.
The RSO is open to graduate students and young scientists (limited to 3 years after the PhD defense) and from all nationalities. Individuals or groups (limited to 3 people max) may make submissions. In the case of group submissions, one team leader must be selected to represent the team in subsequent rounds.
