The world has witnessed the rapid economic and technological growth that has taken place in China during the last 20 years, and the radiopharmaceutical sciences in China are no exception. By meeting in Beijing, we enabled the global radiopharmaceutical sciences community to interact in new and significant ways with China's top researchers and young investigators. The mutual benefit should be outstanding.
We committed to creating an exciting and enriching program, and the symposium had the full support of the Chinese Society of Molecular Imaging (CSMI), the Chinese Society of Nuclear Medicine (CSNM), the Chinese Nuclear and Radiochemistry Society (CNRS), and the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC).
Beijing is easily accessible by virtually all attendees. Many non-stop flights are available from the world's major airline hubs. Additionally, 50% of international conference attendees bring their partners and most of these will visit other beautiful sites throughout China that are easy to access from Beijing.
